Nicole Reggia, director of NTW, joined the onshore volunteers of the Philadelphia Chapter of Sea Shepherd, Captain Paul Watson and Cape May Whale Watcher for the annual “For the Oceans Whale and Dolphin Watch 2017”, bringing awareness to ocean conservation. The crew and volunteers set sail for a day of whale watching off the coast of Cape May, New Jersey, observing marine mammals in their natural habitat. Speakers on board the ship included Captain Paul Watson, Direct Action Crew members, and Sea Shepherd Philadelphia’s own Cove Guardians.

Captain Paul Watson (Animal Planet’s Whale Wars) has been at the helm of the world’s most active non-profit organization for 40 years and is responsible for the protection and defense of marine animals worldwide.
