NTW joined The Friends of the Wissahickon for a mini nature safari. Butterfly expert Kris Soffa led the group through the beautiful Andorra Natural Area in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, offering tips on how to raise butterflies at home. Kris discussed how to identify common butterflies and how to
identify pollinator and caterpillar host plants to attract butterflies to your home and garden.
Friends of the Wissahickon is a non-profit preservation and restoration organization in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is the oldest and largest of the volunteer groups active in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park system.
